The South Hillsborough Ministerial Association (SHMA) will host a local expression of the 57th Annual National Day of Prayer.  This year’s event will be held Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the E. G. Simmons Park located at 2401, 19th Avenue NW, Ruskin.  The theme for this year is "Prayer!  America's Strength and Shield".  All local pastors, congregations, “intercessors,” “ministers,” and everyone in the South Hillsborough (South Shore) Community who believes in “prayer” are invited to participate.  Bring the family.  Restrooms, playgrounds, free food and drinks will be available.
